IN THE GARDEN / Sundews and Indoor Plants

Before we get too deeply into May, here are a few shots from the garden taken in April

OUTSIDE

{ the raspberries are budding up }

{ My favorite thing is watching Mr Fig unfurl his leaves — this was taken a few weeks ago, his leaves are on full display now! }

{ Elsie's sweet little hand ♥ }

{ this bog plant doesn't look like much — you have to look very closely to see the special plants living on this miniature island }

{ ...scattered all around bog island are these special little sundews — a carnivorous marsh plant. Cam made this basin as a birthday gift to support this mini ecosystem }

INSIDE

{ ...my favorite corner of the house ♥ }

{ my Cold Gold cactus — thank you Cate ♥ }

I hope you've all had a good week — happy Friday!

  1. I've never been great with house plants though I really enjoy them. But it's outside where my plants shine. Yours are looking particularly promising for the coming season!

    1. I haven't always had luck with house plants either — I find watering them is a very delicate balance! These are all fairly low maintenance, especially the air plants!
