Tops, Tanks, and Tees KAL || Week 4

I apologize for not posting a KAL update last week but I didn't think 1 inch of progress on my second sleeve was worth blogging about. To make up for the lack of knitting during Week 3 I logged some longer hours during Week 4 and wrapped this WIP up! That's right, my Modified Gemini top has been bound off! All that's left to do is weave in the ends and give it a good blocking.

I am so happy with the way this pullover turned out. Tanis' yarn is so soft and squishy, it makes for an incredibly comfortable garment that can be worn against bare skin. I'm also really pleased with the modifications, you can find my notes on the pattern page for this project.

How about you? Did you knit along this time? I know Rebecca of Nook. has finished her Tee, have you?

  2. So great! I am working on the cap sleeved version now and am loving the pattern. You've inspired me to try a 3/4 sleeve version when this WIP is complete.

  5. I love this. I'm definitely going to do this same kind of thing in wool for myself, but I may not include the lace on the back. I really like the looks of the front. Nicely done :)

  9. This is a very nice sweater, and it looks so confortable! Love the color as well. I also join the KAL (my very first!), but I am a bit behind, I am knitting the Wispy cardigan, in sweet georgia tough love sock. Hopefully, I will be done next week :)

  11. I remember when this tee first came out it seemed like everyone I knew was casting on for it and loving their results (they all turned out so cute). I'm not one for short sleeves, so the mods are definitely a gamechanger for me!

And that color looks lovely on you. I've never used Tanis yarn before, but it's been on the "I need this" list for awhile now.

    1. Why thank you. I don't miss it though, at least not yet! I've been having a great time with my short hair and I had that long mane for 15 years so it was certainly time for a change :)
