On My Needles...

I can't really fill you in on what I'm working on at the moment although I can share a few abstract pics of what I have on the needles.

Quite a few skeins of Madelinetosh have worked their way into my stash over the years (thanks to the Valley Yarns booth at Fibres West). Until now, these skeins have served as decoration in my office. Gorgeous eye candy adorning my desk and bookshelf.

I've had a ton of ideas floating around in my head lately, I don't know what it is, could it be Spring? My head is so full that I've taken to sleeping next to my sketch book.

One of my ideas turned a skein of Madelinetosh DK into a really fun cowl (soon to be released) and so began my obsession with my Madtosh stash. It's had a snowball effect and now I'm working
from a  g o r g e o u s  skein of Madelinetosh Vintage.

The colour is Cove and it's impossible to describe, it's too gorgeous for words.

I know, I get hopelessly romantic about colour, I can't help myself.
When it comes to colour, I totally believe in love at first sight.

  6. It is beautiful!
I am knitting with Madelinetosh pure silk lace in the colour way Filigree. I feel the same way about it. Love at first sight. It's hard to knit with it because I love it so much I don't want to make the wrong pattern choice!

  10. I have only recently bought some Madtosh yarn, just one skein here and there for a scarf, and I love the colours and the softness of the yarn. That Cove is beautiful, I can't wait to see what you knit up with it :) I'm currently knitting both your Georgia and Classic Raglan Pullover and I'm really enjoying them.
