About a month ago I bought a screen printing kit. I was on a mission to make myself a custom yarny t-shirt for Fibres West. I began with a simple doodle of a yarn ball that I had drawn on the cover of a book. Screen printing, I have learned, is a lot of fun, and a little addictive. I soon ran out of clothing to print this yarn ball onto...
...when I ran out of fabric to print on and a generous amount of paint still remained in my screen, I decided to embellish a few items in my office...
Ysolda was having a fun little contest over on her blog and when I began taking photos of all of the yarn balls to show you it made me think of all of those little hedgehogs hiding in her photographs. So let's have some fun with this post... Tell me how many yarn balls you see in my office (don't count the two photos above)...
{ t a b l e }
{ t a b l e }
{this yarn ball doesn't count}
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
~ Only count the yarn ball prints and screen printing related items that you see in the photographs (not actual balls of yarn). Leave your guess in the comments section of this post. All correct answers will be entered into the draw. Contest ends March 15th at midnight. Don't forget to leave an email address or Ravelry ID so that I can notify you if you've won!

::: and to all of those crafty bloggers out there who have neat and tidy, colour coordinated offices & craft spaces with matching furniture and beautiful accessories... I am so, so jealous!
***Comments are now closed. Thank you so much for playing along, this was so much fun and I am glad so many of you participated! The winner will be announced tomorrow, March 16th, 2011. ***

One of the reasons I hated going to the dentist as a kid was that everybody else could find the hidden items in the Highlights magazine. I couldn't see them after the kids colored them in a drew circles around them. I found 9, so there's probably 187. But I'll stike with 9.
ReplyDeleteI counted nine- what a cute little yarn ball it is. What are the orange things in the basket on the shelf? Love that color!
