ooh, they look perfect!! I love baking bread, it's the best feeling when it comes out of the oven and the whole place smells of fresh baking wonderful-ness.
The recipe is from "The Bread Bible" by Beth Hensperger. It was a gift from my sister and I have been working my way through it. There are some really lovely recipes in it but I must be honest, compared to the other breads I have made, this was not a hit...

...it's not the breads fault, or the author, 100% whole wheat just isn't that interesting.
