A Sublime Toque

The "Red is Best" mittens have been put on hold, I want to tweek the pattern a little more to make them as simple as possible. During a recent visit to the Beehive I purchased 3 balls of Sublime Cashmere Merino Silk DK and they have been calling to me ever since. I chose the yarn with a specific hat design in mind. A sneak peak...

As for the yarn, it was a bit pricey but worth every penny. The colour is perfection in my book and was the deciding factor over a very similar yarn by Debbie Bliss. The yarn is soft and sproingy with excellent stitch definition. I highly recommend it for textured patterns.

...and that's what's on my needles!
