Elsie Sundress

Elsie is a simple sundress featuring straps that can be crossed in the back for a tighter fit and with any luck this knit will see you through two summers. The chest is designed with negative ease for a nice snug fit that won’t gape in the front. The simplicity of this pattern makes it an ideal project for those lazy days of summer. Cotton is not my favorite yarn to work with but Mirasol’s T’ika is exceptional. The yarn itself is light and lofty creating a fairly elastic fabric with good drape and a nice weight to it without being dense or rigid. On the border of DK and worsted, it is the perfect weight for a nice quick knit.
